EYE magazine, 62/winter issue
In the EYE magazine, issue 62, winter 06, Christian Schwartz discusses swashes and their recently rekindled acceptance in the visual realm of the twentieth century. Illustrations accompanying the article Back with a Flourish show examples of titling caps with a contemporary twist of characteristic flourishes and swashes, among them Odile Deco Initials.

Most Beautiful Swiss Books
The font Odile Upright Italic was applied in the book Territoire Méditerranée designed by Mathieu Christe in collaboration with Zeina Maasri. Territoire Méditerranée was awarded the Most Beautiful Swiss Books 2005 by the Swiss Federal Office of Culture competition. Employed typefaces are recognized and listed in the catalogue featuring awarded books.

Swiss Federal Design Grant
The typeface family Odile was awarded the Swiss Federal Design Grant 2006, “Selected—Awarded”, by the Swiss Federal Office of Culture. The awarded designs are presented in an accompanying catalog and an exhibition at the Museum für Gestaltung, Zürich, Switzerland was on show to display the selected works. The typeface family Odile was awarded before its public release and distribution by Kontour/Village.
